May 23, 2007 · I have a plastic cold water storage tank (50 gallons approx) in the loft. The original support of chipboard (30mm approx) supported only at either end by 2 beams is showing signs of stress (aren't we all!) and is bowing so is not supporting the tank in middle. I need to sort this out (as well as the idiot who installed it at least 16 years ago!)
