Aug 13, 2009 · v4l: open /dev/video0: No such file or directory no video grabber device available I don't know if this is related to DGA or not, but I know that the Nvidia drivers don't support DGA. I'm using Gentoo by the way. It seems that if I take the DGA flag out of make.conf and run 'emerge -N world' it doesn't seem to affect video4linux anyway.

Segfault is because issues with ffmpeg . but the problem is current stable motion didn't support new palettes added in kernel version from 2.6.27 ... in trunk there're some progress but not fully all supported , but as i already answered to some other support question you can use libv4l.

hi, I downloaded qc-usb-0.6.3 from sourceforge and ran quickcam.sh. the quickcam.ko module was created and added to lsmod but when xawtv ran I got no image (reboot and using gqcam give same result) /var/log/messages shows.
