same here. run it with different account on different domains using pop3 and imap. setting that work for outgoing email server and which have the same values does not work for incomiing setting. ude the same setting with joomla and other open source application and have no problem. i am running vtiger …

So The fix is really simple for this. It took a while to figure it out as it was not common. It's a PHP-IMAP issue. mine was not installed. in order to install and enable php-imap I had to run "sudo apt install php7.1-imap" I am using Ubuntu 16.04 and Apache 2 and PHP 7.1 .

I was trying to install vtiger in my server for installing vtiger we need to enable imap I tried to enable imap using php.ini by removing ; from extension=php_imap.dll but this does not work. Installing page still showing that imap is not enabled.
