Nov 18, 2013 · So the OS becomes stagnant at the version level when they ended support. But it still works fine, it just wont change. Backwards compatibility, in my opinion, has nothing to do with support. It has to do with not forcing customers to change from an older operating system to a newer one, by preventing programs from operating.

We will continue to develop this code since this code is large and supports a lot of the (test and our) equipment drivers class. 98% of the code is written in C/C++ but 2% (GUI only) is written in VB.
