I'm connecting to a remote system using VNC (tigervnc-1.1.0 on client, RealVNC-4.1.2 on server). The client system has two monitors using Nvidia twinview, with an effective resolution of 3200x1200. When I tell vncviewer to use fullscreen, the remote system window (1600x1200) is centered across both monitors with large black spaces on both sides.

VNC instead gives me access to the whole desktop. My normal workflow is to RDP/VNC from my laptop into my multi-monitor desktop and use a few apps there.

I am running a VNC server on Linux and a TightVNC viewer (ver.1.3.10 from 2/10/2009) on Windows with 2 monitors attached to it. I would like to have a full-screen session on both monitors at the same time, but whenever I do that, my full-screen always uses only one monitor.

I noticed something today, don't know if it will help the developers or not. I accidently connected to my main computer (running realvnc server, dual monitor setup) with Ultravnc and UltraVnc showed both monitors, with a scroll bar, just like realvnc viewer. So, the actual dual monitor capability is on the SERVER side, not on the viewer side.
