Fusion 11 is scheduled to be released this week (same day Apple officially releases macOS Mojave); so presumably Workstation/Player 15 will be released as well on the same day; if not, soon.

May 11, 2018 · But it preferrable to use the Nvidia Control Panel. Using OpenGL renderer instead of DX11 for VMware Workstation seems to give better graphics capabilities to the VM (at least with the Maxwell GTX 960M that I have). Yours is M3000M which is Maxwell 2.0 chip.

I have VMware Workstation 11 installed on Ubuntu 14.04 host. Host is 3D enabled and has OpenGL 2.1 support. I have installed Windows 7 x86-64 as a guest OS. Enabled 3d support for guest, allocated 1gb for video memory, installed VMware tools for guest. But guest os has OpenGL sipport only for ver 1.1.
