I have spent so many hours of life in doing something which is by design not properly developed. One might not believe my bold statement, just search USB redirection software. There are at least 10 vendors who are making business out of it.

Dec 07, 2012 · I don't believe this to be the case necessarily as I just checked my beta desktop running on Hyper-V 2008 R2 and see the same problem with the USB Root Hub. I've been using this desktop for a long time now and redirect printers and USB devices all the time without any issues.
