Hi, I'm trying to add the WYSE Mutltimedia Support to a Windows 7 Professional guest which is going to be accessed via a WYSE V10L running ThinOS 7. I'm following the instructions described in KB 1001699. However when I get to the point of adding the WYSE Multimedia component to the VMware tools installation, I get a the message:

Jun 21, 2008 · Glad it's working for you, but we'd still like to figure out why this happened. I asked around and was told that the warning should not have prevented Tools from installing (and there's also the question of why this was part of the default install in the first place).

Oct 26, 2017 · I don't remember if I installed all of the drivers with the exe, but the installed version is 7.8.8, which coincides with VMware Workstation 6.5.5. All VMware Tools features except Descheduled Time Accounting and Wyse Multimedia Support are enabled.

After VMware tools upgrade on Golden image to version 9.0.11, build-1743336 with the same components as old version (all except Virtual Printing, SVGA Driver, Wyse Multimedia Support, Shared folders) and update machines in Personal vDisk type catalog machines cannot control by vCenter Client and Xendesktop.
