Jul 22, 2013 · There seem to be a plethora of controllers in the VMware HCL, Unfortunately I haven't found one at a retailer that is also on the list. As I understand it, any true Hardware RAID controller ought to work, but, having made it a little further up the learning curve with this I'd like to avoid purchasing something that won't work. Suggestions?

Aug 11, 2006 · With all the 3ware posts I read through throwing in their 2 cents, the pot must be up to 30 bucks. Well here is mine… After researching and finding a unanimous VMware ESX doesn’t support 3ware RAID controllers I will not be deploying VMware.
