May 11, 2018 · This will make the Windows 10 VM only have DX9 and OpenGL 2.1 capabilities. And the OpenGL Extensions Viewer GL Report will now show 1.1 through 2.1 versions in the "Core Features" instead of starting off at 3.0. The GL Report still shows S3TC support available on Windows 10 VM on Workstation 12.5.9 using GTX 960M.

Sep 24, 2018 · Workstation/Player 12/14 and Fusion 8/10 supports OpenGL 3.3 Core Profile in Windows/Linux guests but does not support the OpenGL 3.3 Compatibility Profile. Fusion 11 is scheduled to be released this week (same day Apple officially releases macOS Mojave); so presumably Workstation/Player 15 will be released as well on the same day; if not, soon.
