Aug 29, 2010 · Ok, I finally succesfully finished all the tests. VirtualBox ver. 3.2.8 definitely support IPX/SPX protocol. I have been finally able to have a Guest1(on Host1) to Guest2 (on Host2) Client/Server communication over IPX (Filemaker ver.6 used as test application).

Dec 20, 2015 · As of Windows Vista MS dropped IPX support. vDos relies on Windows for file/network operations, so it can’t do IPX neither. DOSBox has an IPX option, but you can’t use that for a database in a multi-user setting. It will also result in corrupted data.
