Dec 17, 2013 · As I understand it, Windows Server 2012 R2 is fully supported as a VM on ESXi 5.5 hosts but when I go to create a new VM the latest OS I see in the list is 2012.

Aug 25, 2013 · Just posting this in case VMWare is aware that Microsoft is building their future products to purposefully block VMWare from hosting it which might be the future "knife" to force people to start using Hyper-v for Server 2012 R2 and future server products since they won't activate on VMWare.
