Jul 06, 2013 · VMware ESXi is great but we have issue with graphics. Our software required OpenGL 1.1 compatible graphics card and I know that VMware ESXi uses the Microsoft Standard graphic driver. Is there anyway that I can make the VMware ESXi to support the full OpenGL for our software to run smoothly? Any help and answer are very appreciated.

Mar 06, 2017 · I found several threads with a similar title, but all were about a bad combination of VM hardware version and VMWare Tools version. In this case I used the latest hardware version and the VMWare Tools, that are bundled with ESXi. I tried different hardware versions as well. I also tried editing the properties of the VM and enabled mks.enable3d.
