Of course Microsoft introduced numerous annoying changes, not the least of which is the new ".manifest" scheme for binding to MSVRC80.DLL. We use the MySQL "C" api to interface to the database, compiling our client against the MySQL .h headers and linking against the MySQL .lib libraries.

Apr 01, 2006 · Hello, I'm deperatly looking/waiting for a full Visual Studio 2005 and FULL .NET (ADO.NET 2.0) support. The Connector 1.0.7 works somehow, but a.) has severe problems with schema creation sinde a long time and b.) does not support all the new ADO.NET 2.0 features.
