Missing codecs for MIDI files in Windows Media Player for Windows 7 Installed Windows 7 Home Premium as an upgrade from Vista Home Premium. Everything works well except that some older MIDI files on the 'net and on my PC won't play and I get a message saying that WMP does not have the codec the files were compressed with.
