Feb 05, 2015 · Hello, I saw several topics dealing with this problem, but I have not found any solution. I'd like to know if it's possible to do a video streaming with VLC to an RTMP server, like Red5.

Hi, I have created my mobile app with VLC mobile kit. I'm using a RTMP output. I tested the RTMP url at VLC Desktop application I achived 2 second latency but in my app the stream take some buffer time and start playing with a 10 second plus delay.

It is a cleartext protocol using TCP ports 80 and 443 to bypass corporated firewalls. The encapsulated session may carry plain RTMP, RTMPS, or RTMPE packets within. RTMP Streaming.
