Oct 15, 2008 · The beauty of a Mac and OS X is that it runs so well that you hardly need tech support. The issue is that the services provided are based on windows platforms only and that doesn't give the Mac much to advantage. I am very happy with my Mac, it runs well with Verizon and the only time I call tech support is when I have problems with the service.

Sep 09, 2007 · Is anyone knowlegeable as to if the iPhone could connect to my Verizon phone through bluetooth and use it's EVDO connection to get to the internet? I would love the iPhone for data capabilities but that is it. The GSM service in the S.F. Bay Area is horrid compared to CDMA. Which means only Sprint or Verizon in my book.

Nov 16, 2006 · MBP and EVDO Ok. I have been using the Verizon software. I make sure to launch it and connect prior to running Parallels and it works fine. I did notice that the Verizon software was preventing my Mac from sleeping, so I have since removed it. But have not tried using Parallels and built-in EVDO support yet. Will report back when I do. EVDO is a 3G mobile broadband technology ("3G" simply stands for "third generation") EVDO Rev-A is the current version of EVDO available from Sprint and Verizon.
