Accuracy of Memcheck on vectorized code has been improved. It remains to be seen whether the improved Mountain Lion support means it works OK for Mavericks.

Valgrind 3.8.0 works on {x86,amd64}-darwin (Mac OS X 10.6 and 10.7, with limited support for 10.8). I know, then, that there is only "limited support" for 10.8.1.
