Dec 10, 2010 · I have tried installing libflashsupport and modifying the build to look in /usr/lib64/ which is working except that libflashplayer bypasses libflashsupport. The only way I can get libflashplayer to use pulseaudio on my system is to link the pulse libs from /usr/lib64/alsa-lib to /usr/lib/alsa-lib/.

If you're a 64-bit user and use a 32-bit Flash, make sure the copy of the 32bit libflashsupport is in your 32-bit library directory (/usr/lib32 on Debian or /usr/lib on Fedora) Alternatives to Flash If the above fails, than a Flash alternative can be used.

Mar 11, 2011 · # mkdir -p /usr/lib/oss/lib Secondly, if you are using 64-bit like I am, you can use provided, precompiled 64-bit library but before you will make install -s commands, you must change the name of file from libflashsupport_64.so to libflashsupport.so .

Apr 04, 2010 · /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x01001000) root@pcbsd-2369# libssl.so.7 is present in /compat/linux/lib but the dependency is about libssl.so.5 which is not present in the /compat/linux/lib. PCBSD will need that to installed to get sound output for youtube videos. How to install libssl.so.5 in pcbsd to get a permanent solution to the problem
