Oct 16, 2018 · I was in the same boat with a RDX USB drive for backups. USBIP from SourceForge will not work with Windows 2012 R2 w/ Hyper-V. The USB Redirector from Incentives Pro works and is the cheapest from what I found. So if you need a software solution, go USB Redirector.
