Mar 22, 2016 · The keyboard and mouse on one of our office's computer (older HP 6000-Pro) suddenly stopped working. I've tried using different keyboards and mice. I've also tried going into the Bios to see if the Legacy USB Support was enabled, but it's not listed anywhere in the bios. I reset the Bios settings to default, etc., but nothing is working.

Apr 09, 2018 · The KB and the mouse are both USB, the board has one PS/2 port. Before the reinstall, I was using the adapter to plug the mouse into that single PS/2 port and was using the "power on by keyboard" setting in bios for the KB which is plugged now into the same USB port as before.

May 13, 2017 · USB KB/Mouse plugged into the USB ports at the PS2 connector. Worked fine on the F1 BIOS the board shipped with. As soon as I updated to F2, USB KB/Mouse stopped working in BIOS (still work fine in Windows). An old PS2 KB works fine, so it's not a show-stopper, but it would be great if it could get fixed in an upcoming release.

Nov 10, 2016 · - When Legacy USB Support is set to Enabled or Auto , the card reader prevents my PC from posting, and it just sits there on the Asrock splash screen. If I unplug my card reader and reboot, I can boot up fine.

Jan 19, 2004 · I just got me an USB Keyboard and Mouse. Of course, to make it work I had to switch on the legacy support in the Bios. To the USB 2 port I'm connecting a harddisk which supports USB2 and worked as long as I didn't enable the Legacy mode in the Bios.
