Oct 02, 2013 · Windows does not support class 2 audio protocol, that’s why usually drivers are needed. But on the contrary, OSX natively supports class 2 audio protocol, so it doesn’t need any driver to work with these kind of devices (i don’t understand why drivers for OSX are supplied for this DAC). The same should be true for Linux.
