    Dec 23, 2010 · If the message is "Updating boot support partitions for the volume AS required," as in the sample below, all it means is Disk Utility is doing that as/if necessary. It's not an error message, and there's nothing you need to do. What's important is whether you got the "appears to be OK" message.

But yesterday I have done some updates and my uefi boot partition was broken: I have dual boot system - windows and opensuse linux - and I can't load boot loader, I can only run windows 10 selecting it from bios boot order menu. I can't boot no more onto opensuse.
