    I started on Elementary OS, then moved to Ubuntu 16 LTS and now I am on Ubuntu 17.04. Using a Belkin Wifi USB dongle, the connection drops regularly on all OSs with my hardware. The only solution is either to remove and re-insert the dongle or to disconnect and reconnect to the network.
