Hello I've been struggling with this for few days and have searched many posts and forums and hope posting here will help. I've a dell inspiron 1525 with ubuntu 8.04/ vista dual boot and a WIRELESS DELL 1395 (802.B/G) MINI CARD F trying to connect to a netgear dg834g router using WPA-PSk.

The wpa_supplicant project also supports BSD and Mac OS X. Not only is Ubuntu 9.10 already loaded with the wpa_supplicant, its own networking GUI communicates directly with the supplicant. Configuring 802.1X authentication and connecting to WPA or WPA2 Enterprise networks in Ubuntu is pretty straightforward.

I'm using Ubuntu on an IBM T42 laptop. Recently upgraded to 8.10 and can no longer connect to my WPA or WEP home network (works fine with no network security).
