Oct 15, 2008 · UBI support for NOR is currently not planned. This would take some additional effort to add the MTD infrastructure to the CFI flash driver. Also UBI NAND/OneNAND booting support is currently not planned. Current time frame for this is to finish and publish the support until mid of November 2008.

Apr 12, 2016 · If you want to use the kernel on top of UBI, simple use enable the ubi commands on U-boot, flash your ubi image with the kernel, attach to it via ubi attach on U-Boot, and use ubi read to load your image to memory. Boot normally with bootm.
