You do not need this module if you only want to charge VAT at checkout. Usage After installation you should add a new tax rule with the VAT rate for your country at /admin/store/settings/taxes.

Dec 23, 2010 · D7 will contain some support in Ubercart for showing taxed prices directly, see #991638: How can we support VAT in Ubercart 7.x-3.x now uc_price() has been removed?.This module will probably still be needed to enter tax inclusive prices, hide taxes for certain roles, etc. but I will wait to see what UC3.0 supports before working on a D7 release of uc_vat.

May 29, 2009 · Hi all, I've just downloaded the 6.x-2.x-dev version of Ubercart Discounts (Alternative) and tried to manage a term based discount but occurred in the problem described here: the discount is applied before taxes, which is not correct here in Italy. Actually the taxes are managed correctly by Ubercart 2 VAT support module.

May 28, 2009 · I am trying to write a price alterer module to add initial European VAT support to Ubercart, so prices are shown including tax before the checkout. However, I'm running into a problem at checkout where the price alterer function appears to be called twice, resulting in both the cart block and the order total preview pane showing incorrect values.

Sep 29, 2010 · The default seems to add the VAT to the total (or sell price.) Personally I just get the client to add their prices excl.vat and have drupal add it on. But then the store is advertinsing everything excl.vat, which is fine for wholesaling, but what about selling to the public?
