    May 29, 2012 · happily using a QNAP 109II, Twonky 4.4.9 and Soundbridges to serve music to the whole family, I was annoyed by the issues around using playlists (seemingly also not solved in 4.4.11). We use playlists for all occasions and change them often on different PCs and Laptops, using WMP WPLs and M3Us from other tools (e.g. Winamp).

    I understand that Twonky server only picks up iTunes static playlists, but is it possible to export smart playlists from iTunes as M3U, then copy these to the NAS so Twonky picks them up? If so, where do I put them on the NAS? I assume I would need to change the paths of the music files in the playlist so Twonky knows where they are? Cheers

    Dec 25, 2010 · ItemCount is the number of items in the playlist so you will need set it to the right number, the important part is setting Type=V for video, without setting that Twonky defaults to M (music) in it's playlist cache (in the db directory), which then causes it to ignore the files when it processes the playlists.
