I read on the website satnews.com in December 2015 that the company DVBWorld would come with a receiver, a PC card and a USB tuner designed for North America in 2016 that would support IPTV, DVB-S, DVB-S2 (QPSK/8PSK Turbo / 16APSK/32APSK) and ATSC. I do not know who will be the distributor here in America. I have an old DVBWorld USB tuner 2104C bought in 2005 and it still works fine.

Jul 24, 2014 · I'm from North America, here the main providers (DISH and BELL) use different modulation called Turbo-Fec (either tubo 8psk or turbo qpsk) especially for HD channels, regular modulation 8psk and qpsk is very inimally used. So far no tuner of any of Vu+ box is capable of tuning such modulation, nor is any linux box anyway.
