Then you can reuse the SSD on your desktop PC by installing the OS, encrypting and copying the files back to the SSD.

Dec 22, 2017 · My question was how practical it is to use Truecrypt with modern laptops using UEFI, SSD drives etc. A lot of people share my opinion on Bitlocker and Microsoft and a lot of people don't. But that is another discussion. My question is Truecrypt or Veracrypt. Thanks. It is no practical as Truecrypt doesn't support UEFI.
