Unfortunately, after reporting the problem to support I reset the environment I was working on (as I've also been working on upgrading to Tridion 2011) and when they made this request SiteEdit was not logging in the Application event log as its configured to do (I'm thinking it's possibly a permission issue).

May 13, 2009 · Been using Tridion 2009, whilst the interface does seem a lot neater and the icons look nicer, it hasn’t fixed the two main problems that users have . 1) The speed – Doesn’t seem to be much improvement. 2) Browser support. I do see that on the tridion ideas website FF support has 100+ votes, so perhaps this will make it into 2010.

It is true, SDL Tridion 2009 does not support Firefox for its management interface and 2009 is not a product and SDL Tridion is not a vendor that is unique is this; so why the reaction? Is Firefox the holy grail of web browsers? I thought about this and I thought how I use Firefox.
