Jun 02, 2009 · There is a version of TotalMedia Theatre that plays ALL of my HD DVD discs perfectly without issue: 5.3.1.146 This is the only version that plays them exceptionally well! So for the moment, I installed 5.3.1.146 for HD DVD discs, and 6.0.1.123 for everything else.

Feb 04, 2013 · I was running the previous version, TotalMedia Theater 3, which played my Blu-ray and HD-DVD's (yes, I still have some). I had to reload my Windows 7 64 bit and could not find the previous install disk, so I downloaded and installed TotalMedia Theater 5. Install was fine and it plays my few HD-DVD's, but it will not play a single Blu-ray movie.2.3/5(7)

Apr 01, 2013 · Conclusion: ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre 5 is a good app, however its pricey for a media player, especially when the bulk of PC's on the market don't have Blu-ray DVD drives or 3D displays. Its Windows Media Center integration is nice, and makes a great deal of sense, especially if you have a 3rd party Blu-ray drive in your desktop PC.3/5(44)
