Sep 24, 2018 · Workstation/Player 12/14 and Fusion 8/10 supports OpenGL 3.3 Core Profile in Windows/Linux guests but does not support the OpenGL 3.3 Compatibility Profile. Fusion 11 is scheduled to be released this week (same day Apple officially releases macOS Mojave); so presumably Workstation/Player 15 will be released as well on the same day; if not, soon.

Jan 19, 2018 · The program crashes every time I try to make some drawings with the openGL option. I know that the WSL is not a full linux and is intended to do command line tasks. In my case, I have installed the openGL libararies and everything seems OK. I am wondering if my problem is because of the WSL is incompatible with openGL.

Jan 25, 2016 · I have a system with an Intel 82945G Express chipset. I've installed the latest and greatest display drivers that I can get for them. However, OpenGL still does not work. (I cannot use LWJGL for Java, and Minecraft doesn't open up). The installed drivers (not WDDM) supported OpenGL in Windows 8. I really appreciate the help. Thanks,

This might happen even if your system does have OpenGL 3.3 support. There is unfortunately no simple solution to this. Installation on remote systems: bear in mind that running the GUI components over a remote X11 connection is not possible, since the GLX protocol does not support OpenGL 3 and above (see Remote display issues for details).
