How ever on Friday last week the following message has apeared (this screen does not support HDCP). Sky are suggesting its an issue with the TV. I have checked the leads, reset the TV hard and soft, reset the SKYQ box up updated the software on that too.

Sep 11, 2006 · Then you clearly have a problem with your Pioneer display. If you are not already in dialog with your retailer or Pioneer to fix this, I suggest you do so immediately. A very small number of people get occasional and random HDCP handshake errors, that are easily fixed.

Nov 27, 2017 · I suspect that it is a matter of poor documentation on Samsung’s part not expressing in the owners manual that only ports 1 & 3 support HDCP. The only other thing that the manual really indicates is that a device / cable supporting an HDMI version below 1.3 could cause similar problems.

Mar 16, 2014 · HDCP requires an HDMI cable to work, so no, your monitor is not HDCP compatible. Update - I lied. HDCP is supported over DisplayPort, DVI, HDMI, GVIF, or UDI interfaces.

Dec 31, 2008 · HDCP is not on component cables so some content will not play over component in HD. HDMI does require HDCP so that works. In short, all component connections on all TVs should do that. Nothing busted here.
