Nov 14, 2019 · The UEFI BIOS in my Surface Laptop does not have an option to enable the Virtualization support that is built into the processor. Installing Hyper-V doesn't enable the processor virtualization support, I have tried, which is only done via a BIOS setting, which seems to be missing from the UEFI BIOS in my Surface Laptop.

First of all make sure you enabled Virtualization Technology in your BIOS. After restarting your computer press F1-F12 on your keyboard and find this option. Make sure you disabled Hyper-V in your Windows 7/Windows 8. You can turn it off in Control Panel -> Programs -> Windows functions
