Subject: No support for kernel L2TP Date: Fri, 06 Nov 2009 10:22:59 +1030 Ive done some testing and if xl2tpd is compiled with USE_KERNEL option enabled but the kernel doesnt support it or the module isnt loaded then xl2tpd continues without issue in userspace mode, writing the following in the logfile xl2tpd[]: L2TP kernel support not detected.

my mistake. You are right, L2TP uses UDP ports and telnet will not simply work (a really big mistake, sorry about that). Enabling debugging on L2TP service does not work as expected: service l2tpd:debug -dsnosync . 400 Bad Request. Send me a PM and I will have a look at it. Regards,
