May 31, 2011 · It's truly meant to play with mouse. I mean, inventorys would be problem. And I use the closest camera (OTS) and I would never play this with a controller. Witcher 2, I think has a support for xbox-controller. I have xbox-controller (the version that is meant to be with windows) also and I like to use it in some games but it would not work in this.

Jul 30, 2019 · The combat system, and the UI in general, would not be conducive to a controller regardless (while the second two games are basically built for a controller). Not only is there no controller support, I don't see HOW you'd play this game with a controller. That said, it's a fantastic game with a story that holds up today.
