Apr 26, 2015 · I just finished Witcher 2 a ccuple days ago and decided to delve back into the Witcher 1 forgetting it had no controller support. Since I have recently begun to prefer using a 360 Controller for PC games so I can sit back a little from the screen, this was a problem for me.

Oct 03, 2012 · I was a little bummed when I saw there was no controller support. I gave it a chance anyway and the keyboard/mouse controls work perfectly. Combat lends itself to the KB/mouse; it is not like combat in Witcher 2 & 3.

Jun 05, 2015 · While there is no controller support, there is a mode where you can use your mouse cursor to move Geralt and it is very simple to get a hang of. You will still want to use your keyboard during gameplay since that is really the simplest way of switching your fighting style and magic type.

Dec 12, 2015 · Does The Witcher 1 have controller support for a 360 controller? If the answer is no, is there a way to add it manually or make it work easily with say, Xpadder? I only ask cause I've had trouble getting "complex" games (i.e. something more complicated than NES Mother/SNES EarthBound) to work comfortably using Xpadder.

Feb 02, 2016 · This is my newest XPadder profile for the Witcher. It has multiple sets and maps all the game keys. I've already released another one sometime in December but I found the profiles to be so different that I decided to release this one as a separate mod for the sake of disambiguation.

The Witcher 1 is much easier played with a mouse, I would imagine playing it with a gamepad would be very difficult. But I suck using a mouse. I've tried using it on multiple occassions but it just doesn't click with me for some reason.

I've played about 45 minutes of The Witcher 1 with the keyboard and mouse control set up, and I just can't get into.
