After eight days the seller had still not resolved the matter, and I noticed that eBay had sent me an e-mail via eBay Messages asking if I'd got my refund, and if not to use the option to escalate the case, or words to that effect. However, there was no link in the message, or in the case details, that would allow me to escalate the matter to eBay.

Today I checked the laptop finally arrived to the seller's adress. Then after this he escalated the case to Ebay Customer Support. Just wanted to know if this is normal. What can I expect of this. Will I get my refund after all?

Feb 23, 2015 · Bought a movie described at Like New, but the disc was scratched and froze on two separate players in the same spot. Requested a return that the seller did not respond to, so I escalated to eBay on 2/2 with no response thus far. The case is still open with generic messages "You contacted Customer Service. Awaiting response."

I have opened a case and he has told me the same thing. I am not giving my bank details out. But i cant seem to contact ebay direclty. I want to escalate the case to customer suppoort as it has been open for nearly a fortnight, but i dont see anywhere that lets me have that option. Someone please help

It says "Only escalate if you are finished communicating with the seller. You are authorizing eBay Customer Support to make the final decision on this case.
