Well, even if your PYTHONPATH looks correct, it may not necessarily be correct after the sudo.Try bringing up a root shell first with sudo su -, then check PYTHONPATH looks right before running the script from the same shell. – Aya May 23 '13 at 12:54

Dec 15, 2014 · The installation works! Thanks a lot! Incidentally, running python -c 'import scipy; scipy.test()'yields that tests FAILED (KNOWNFAIL=277, SKIP=1192, errors=1), while brew test scipy doesn't complain at all.
