Telstra - I keep coming to this thread to no avail. I actually called Telstra the other week to enquire about annex m.I spent hours being shunted around the phone system talking to a whole bunch of people who dont even know what it is.

Unfortunately Telstra don't offer Annex M ADSL connections. 0.76 is quite reasonable for a standard ADSL2+ connection. As far as I'm aware only a limited number of ISPs offer AnnexM and even fewer offer it to residential subscribers. If you've found a solution then don't forget to mark that post accordingly.

(Annex M is not available on Internode ADSL services connected via a Telstra Wholesale or Optus Wholesale DSLAM port, or some Internode DSLAM ports that don't support Annex M). An Annex M compatible modem/router (you will need to enable Annex M mode). Select an Annex M profile in the Internode ADSL2+ port profile changer.

ADSL2+ Upload Speeds - Telstra Crowdsupport - 469205

    https://crowdsupport.telstra.com.au/t5/Business-Broadband/ADSL2-Upload-Speeds/td-p/469205
Annex M allows upload up to 2.5Mbps, SHDSL is able to support speeds of up to 80/80Mbps, but both are dependent on DSLAM and exchange capabilities and the carrier. I have never actually gone and looked into Telstra's capabilities and offered services with the two of them.

G.992.3 annex A - Telstra Crowdsupport

I have a Telstra bundle with a 500GB Liberty Elite plan. It's supposed to provide an ADSL2+ service, but the modem says that the connection is "G.992.3 annex A" - which is another way of saying ADSL2 (without the '+'), which provides half the maximum theoretical speed of ADSL2+.ADSL2+ is "G.992.5".
