    On top of this sits a ssd with esxi installed which holds the vm's. I had one raid controller installed, linked via rdm to a win2008 server. After setting up the second raid controller, booting to a livecd to create a partition, and booting back into esxi I kind of expected to see a second device in the vSphere client. But that didn't happen.
