Moreover, you have visited some online help talking about the latest version of sonar ant task (2.x) doesn't need the key and version attributes in the sonar runner task. It's crap, I have wasted lot of time with that miss leading guidelines. You do need these two attributes to make the sonar task run. Hope this will brighten your day. Thanks

When the manifest task is used as a nested element of the Jar task, the "file" and "mode" attributes must be removed as the location and name of a manifest file in a jar file is fixed and cannot be changed, so you don't need to specify the output location.

Also I can't use the ant that is called within Weblogic7.sp2 when I call setWLSEnv, my build.xml then fails because the ant in Weblogic is older than 1.5.3 and doesn't support the destfile attribute for the <jar> task.
