Hi Dev Mgr I had tried XP Professional 32 and 64, Vista Business 32 and 64, Windows 7 Ultimate 32 and 64. Both versions of XP Professional work fine in my dual processor configuration; only the 64-bit of Vista Business and 7 Ultimate cannot be run. Thank you.

I got the CPU's, heat sink and video card installed. There indeed was 2 6 port PCI-E connectors which works out fantastic! The machine scores 7.7 over all in WIndows with video desktop and gaming scoring 7.9 and the hard drive scoring 7.9. CPU and memory scored 7.7. Not bad for the age of the machine!

May 27, 2014 · I've checked and Dell does not support these machines any longer. I can't even buy a Windows 7 software upgrade from the site! I'd like to upgrade to Win 7-64bit on these machines, any suggestions? I just saw I missed a question. I checked myself and don't see any operating systems for sale on our website.
