Jul 16, 2009 · Even if you bought the system today, it is very likely that the drivers are out of date, especially the Audio drivers. Check the manufacturer's site for the latest, and install it. Now, if that does not work, very many people have had wonderful luck with ASIO4ALL. It is a universal ASIO driver.

Nov 29, 2013 · WASAPI can provide bit perfect output whereas the standard windows sound system does not I believe. Cyberlink PowerDVD now does support WASAPI but unfortunately it locks the volume at 100% which is no good for me.

DirectSound should at least detect. I still doubt Crossover will give you much of a rewarding gaming experience, but that should at least get you to the point where the GS window opens and you see/hear stuff.
