May 07, 2012 · okay, i'll report back when i've had a chance to do that. although i did run a light probe (like a screw driver but with a light in it and a wire) and the wire which runs down to the lamp and back up to the other switch, in this case, a blue wire with a white stripe, had absolutely no voltage in it at all.
