I recently browsed on the internet that there is a textArea local to SVG (I might need this for text-wrapping purpose). I used the example and tested it on Chrome inside the HTML5 element, but it won't display the textArea element, anyone know how to properly implement the SVG textArea? or is it possible that the SVG 1.2 tiny is not supported yet?

The SVG <text> element draws a graphics element consisting of text. It's possible to apply a gradient, pattern, clipping path, mask, or filter to <text>, like any other SVG graphics element.. If text is included in SVG not inside of a <text> element, it is not rendered. This is different than being hidden by default, as setting the display property won't show the text.

It should be doable with MeasureText and a dichotomy algorithm but a better way maybe exists.. A naive implementation for breaking by spaces (tabs etc should be added) :

Flatten to image. For some use cases, a zillion paths or objects probably end up chewing memory and bloating the DOM for some special cases. So, it would be nice to have a primitive that takes the rendered output of arbitrary SVG and flattens it to an image so all you get is the pixels.
