After the installation finished, all mp3 support had disappeared. Amarok used to play mp3 without problems after I for the first time had installed opensuse11.0. Jul 26, 2007 · I am running Kubuntu 6.10 & Amarok 1.44. I had libxine-extracodecs installed, and was unable to play MP3 files. I am currently able to play m4a files without any problems. When I start Amarok a box pops up that asks me if I want to install mp3 support, I say yes. If libxine-extracodecs is installed the box goes away and nothing happens.
