Jul 09, 2011 · I have a duly validated licensed Widows XP SP 3 installed on my PC. I have the product key but do not have the Windows XP CD with me. Now when I try to install "Supplemental Language Support" from the "Regional & Language Option" icon in the Control Panel, it is asking for Windows XP CD (Which I don't have).

Apr 21, 2012 · While the "supplemental" languages take up a bit of disc space, they make no difference at all to performance. The only exception is the Far Eastern languages (Chinese, Japanese) which, if "activated" increase the memory requirement of Windows.

In order to view Hebrew properly on Windows XP, you should enable supplemental language support. This is enabled by default on Windows Vista. If you don't enable language support, the vowels won't appear under the letters in Mozilla Firefox. The text should appear correctly in Explorer without the language support, but in an ugly font.

How do you do this in Windows 7? I don't want to download display languages through Windows updates just support them. Steve
