Sep 07, 2011 · Now lets give the raw facts first, SRM does not support Storage vMotion and SRM does not support Storage DRS. The reason that SRM does not support Storage vMotion (and subsequently Storage DRS) is because it changes the location of the virtual machine without SRM being aware of it.

Mar 18, 2015 · With SRM 6.0 we now have full compatibility with SDRS and greatly enhanced support for Storage vMotion. Datastore groups can now contain any set of datastores, no restrictions, and SDRS will only make automatic migrations between two non-replicated datastores or within datastores in the same consistency group.
